What types of wounds do you treat?
We treat a wide range of wounds including diabetic ulcers, pressure sores, venous and arterial ulcers, surgical wounds, and non-healing or chronic wounds. If your wound hasn’t improved within a few weeks, it should be evaluated by a specialist.
When should I see a wound care specialist?
If your wound hasn’t shown signs of healing within 2–4 weeks, is getting worse, or shows signs of infection (redness, swelling, drainage, or pain), it’s time to seek advanced care. Early treatment prevents complications and speeds recovery.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
In most cases, no referral is required. However, some insurance plans may require authorization—our team will help verify your coverage before your visit.
Does insurance cover wound care treatment?
Most wound care treatments are covered by Medicare and many major insurance plans. We verify your benefits ahead of time so you understand your coverage and any potential out-of-pocket costs.
